You can’t lose weight by wishing it off and that is exactly what you are doing if you have no plan. If you make your plan a week in advance, you are more likely to be successful. Think about everything that is going on within your week and plan accordingly.
Don’t deviate from your plan once you have it. When you stray from the plan, make a note of that in the diary. Keep track of the people that were around you when it happened and the situation that you were in. You will be able to access these details in the future to help you deal with similar circumstances.
- Contemplation
Maintaining a nutritional journal is an essential method of self-regulation. You will clearly be able to see how you are coming along and if you are getting closer to the goals you have set. Don’t forget to congratulate yourself for successes other than the pounds you have dropped.
