Sound advice. I find it best do do a couple different aerobic exercises, such as jumping rope and day-hiking, so I don’t get bored with any one exercise and stop exercising completely.

I also like to mix up my aerobic workouts. Example: 20 minutes of walking followed by 20 minutes of biking. This really makes the time fly by.

Aerobic exercise is extremely important not only for weight loss. Lately, experts agree that increasing and maintaining muscle mass is essential to increase basal metabolism and burn calories.
I subscribe to the philosophy of having a plan in everything we do. To lose weight, you must strictly follow with discipline whatever exercise program you need to do and the types of food you must avoid. Personally, a combination of fast and furious resistance and interval training works a treat. Plus, of course, a healthy nutritious diet – lots of fruit, veges, nut & seeds and grass fed meat with the fat left on. It’s all about balance… exercise and healthy food eaten at the right times.
I don’t much go in for yoga, but definitely recommend stretching and like Palates for long lean muscle building and inner core strength.
